Yes. Every tool has a Send to… menu on its result, which passes the finished file to another tool without a download and a re-upload in between. It is free and needs no account.

No, on every plan. You get the full resolution you uploaded, no watermark, and every download format. The plans differ in how many background removals you get, never in what one produces.

Yes, on the same page as the removal. Pick a solid colour, a gradient or a photo, and what you see in the preview is what gets drawn into the file you download. Leave it transparent and you get a PNG with nothing behind the subject.

Bulk removal is part of the Pro plan: drop up to twenty images, or a ZIP of them, and the cutouts come back as one archive. On the other plans you can still drop a whole folder — the files are queued on the page and you run them one at a time, and nothing is uploaded until you choose one.

The PDF tools ask for the password when they open the file and use it in your browser to unlock the document. It is never sent to us and never stored.

That is a scan: a picture of a page rather than words. Run it through the scan tool and the text is recognised in your browser and written back into the file, so search, copy and Ctrl+F work in any reader afterwards.

Yes. PDF to JPG renders every page at a size you choose and shows you the result before you download, as single images or one archive. JPG to PDF does the reverse.

The tools that run in your browser — merge, split, compress, convert and resize — are free and unlimited, with no account and no watermark. Background removal runs on a GPU that costs us money per image, so it is the one thing that is metered.

A free account gets two background removals a day and thirty a month. Plus is $17 a month or $137 a year and raises that to ten a day and two hundred a month, with no ads. Pro is $24 a month or $193 a year, drops the daily cap entirely at five hundred removals a month, and adds bulk processing.

The daily count resets at midnight. The monthly count resets at the start of your next billing period, which is the day of the month you signed up on.

Yes, at any time from your billing settings, and without writing to anyone. Cancelling keeps your plan running until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing you have made is taken away afterwards.

Yes. Every paid plan carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. Send the request from your billing page and we return the full subscription fee to the card you paid with, usually within two to three business days.

Signed-out visitors and free accounts see ads, which is part of what pays for the free tier. Plus and Pro remove them everywhere.

Two. Background removal runs on a GPU, so the image is sent to it. Chat with a PDF has to keep the document to answer questions about it later. Everything else — merging, splitting, compressing, converting, resizing, editing, OCR — runs inside your browser, and the file never leaves your device.

Ten minutes. A finished cutout is deleted automatically after that, so download it before you close the tab. The original you uploaded is not kept beyond the removal itself.

Only someone holding the exact address. Each result gets its own random address that is never listed anywhere, browsers and proxies are told not to cache it, and it stops working when the file is deleted ten minutes later.

No. Your files are used to produce your result and nothing else. We do not sell them, share them, or use them to train models.

It is stored, along with the text taken out of it, because a conversation you cannot come back to is not much of a conversation. Signed out, the document is kept for a day; a free account keeps five documents for a week; on a paid plan they stay until you delete them. You can delete any document yourself at any time.

Fine detail needs contrast to work with. Upload the largest version of the photo you have, and prefer one where the subject is lit differently from what is behind it. A busy background in the same tone as the subject is the hardest case there is.

The first removal after a quiet spell wakes the GPU, which takes about twenty-five seconds; after that they run in a few. If it is slower than that, the status page will say so — it is measured automatically rather than written by hand.

The daily count resets at midnight, so waiting works. If you need them now, a free account gives you more than being signed out does, and Pro has no daily cap at all.

Almost always a blocked download or a full disk. Check the download bar or your browser's blocked-content notice, then try again. Results are deleted ten minutes after they are made, so if the tab has been open a while, run the file again.

Check the format and the size first: the image tools take JPG, PNG, WebP and BMP, and the PDF tools take PDF. A file that another program has open, or one that was only partly downloaded, will also fail to open.

Reload the page ignoring the cache — Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac. That replaces an old copy of the page held by your browser, which is what an unresponsive button usually is.

Send us the tool you were using, the browser you were in and what you expected to happen. That is usually enough to reproduce it the same day.
