What runs where
Two different kinds of tool
Worth knowing which is which, because it decides whether your file leaves the device at all.
- Background remover
- The cut runs on our servers, because the model is too large to ship to a browser. The file is deleted after processing.
- Converter and resizer
- Entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and they keep working on a bad connection.
- PDF tools
- Also entirely in your browser. The document is opened by your own machine and never sent to us.
- Native apps
- None. There is no iOS, Android, Windows or macOS build, and this page used to claim otherwise.
