Every angle unit on this page

radian rad
The SI base unit of angle, defined as the angle subtended by an arc whose length equals the radius. Used throughout trigonometry and calculus.
degree °
One 360th of a full turn. The everyday unit for angles in navigation, surveying, geometry and most general contexts.
gradian gon
One 400th of a full turn, also called a grade. Favoured in surveying and some engineering disciplines.
milliradian mrad
A thousandth of a radian. Used in military targeting, telescope sights and precision angular measurement.
arcminute
One 60th of a degree, also called a minute of arc. Essential in astronomy, surveying and high-precision angle work.
arcsecond
One 60th of an arcminute, one 3600th of a degree. Used for extreme precision in astronomy and astrometry.
turn turn
One complete 360-degree rotation. A natural unit when counting complete rotations or cycles.
quadrant quad
One quarter of a full turn, 90 degrees. The angle between perpendicular lines.
NATO mil mil
One 6400th of a full turn. Used in military artillery, ballistics and weapons systems for targeting.
